I believe in treating the cause of my "dis-ease" as wholistically as possible. I am not opposed to seeking out traditional medicine if that is my best option, yet over the years I have learned that there are NUMEROUS other choices available. And, many of those choices can, and do provide a much better result than the allopathic model.

AROMATHERAPY:
Using therapeutic grade essential oils can produce wonderful results. Essential oils can be applied topically, ingested, or diffused. In our country, essential oils are treated as a cosmetic. As a result, the label can say 100% pure and may only be as little as 5% pure oil. It is important to do your homework to make sure you are buying and using therapeutic grade essential oils (not diluted with any alcholol or other chemicals). You may pay a higher price for the quality, but it is well worth it.

Energy body work is a term used to describe a modality that works with your body's subtle energy body. Some commonly known modalities are reiki, healing touch, therapeutic touch, and The EMF Balancing Technique. Some hospitals around the country now have practitioners of these modalities on staff for patients seeking alternative and complimentary care. These can be highly effective with NO side effects. Double blind studies have been conducted indicated a faster recovery rate for the group who received "energy work" over those that did not.
